i used a blog to
efficiently record all my work online, i used a sony camera, sd card, and a
tripod to hold the camera but i didn’t like using prezi because powerpoint is
much easier to use. We also used jonnys nokia lumia 520 which is red, and he
drops it all the time. We also used Microsoft word for the planning and
designing of the storyboard and also the evaluation. I think the finished piece
was great, but jonny doesn’t like the
final product because he wasn’t satisfied and he doesn’t like the black and
white effect that we chose to use. ? We done 18 shots, the techniques were shot
reverse shot, 180 degree rule and match on action.
It only took 3 hours
because there wasn’t that much dialogue, we didn’t need to create a risk
assessment as it was set in dans garage and it was pretty much empty, and there
were limited objects that could be used to cause any bodily harm (except a
gasoline bottle) but i did end up falling very violently off a chair and onto
the very cold concrete floor which made my bottom cold. The 3 camera techniques
we used were shot reverse shot, match on action and the 180 degree rule which
added good effect to our short film.
After we finished the
editing of the film, we shown our media group our video and our class the next
morning. they have mostly given us positive feedback as the 3 camera shots
quite clearly worked to our advantage, and they are impressed with the acting and the special effects. We
also got given some constructive and respective criticism such as the picture
quality not being to the standard it should of been. The changes we should make is that we need to
use a better camera instead of jonnys phone as the picture quality of the video
turned out to be quite blurry, and it would of been easier to film if we had
more space to film as dans garage did have enough space.
